Abstract

Improper behavior is the type of conduct human beings have and reflect some kind of problem that does not allow a person to relate adequately to his/her surroundings. This type of condition always depends on two fundamental factors. The first one is related to the characteristics of the personality of an individual; and the second one, to the nature of the conflicts they are facing and the capacity or incapacity they have to handle any given situation. Considering that improper behavior is caused by external factors, and that it depends on the characteristics of the person’s personality to face them, this research proposes a study in relation to the improper behavior of adolescents and how much domestic violence influences these conducts. For the development of this project, a group of students from “Unidad Educativa Intercultural Bilingüe Fiscal Fernando Daquilema” was selected and were evaluated by means of observations, interviews, surveys and case study, to determine if there really is a relation between domestic violence and the improper behavior these adolescents show. The study also considered the participation of teachers and parents. After the preliminary study, a solution plan was developed with the purpose of contributing to the diminishing of domestic violence. This plan included topics  addressed to raise  consciousness  in the  educational community, aimed     at providing preparation, aid and support to students as well as parents to identify, control and reduce this type of behavior that affect the personal and professional development of adolescents.
