Abstract

The link with the Society as a substantive function, constitutes a practical space for the integral formation that the students have to develop the professional profile. Through the identification of needs of the environment, whose planning follows from the educational model, articulated to the research lines of the corresponding academic unit. In addition, Article 50 of the RRA-19, is mandatory to indicate that this should be articulated to the other substantive functions, for the promotion of social transformation. In order to comply with this new paradigm, the following operative lines are determined; preprofessional practices, continuing education, projects and specialized services, research, dissemination and results of application of scientific knowledge, execution of innovation projects, and projects of community or social services. In this context, it is imperative to carry out epistemological reflections of the relationship with society in relation to being and what to do and what are the methodological implications that arise from the Academic Regime in HEIs. Methodologically, the research responds to the qualitative-quantitative approach, for transverse temporality, fieldwork, source of information; with the survey technique, directed to the teachers of the education system, finally the and bibliographical analysis. What allowed to establish a starting point for reflection.
