Abstract

The purpose of the present work is to carry out a study on the strategic plan of the various hotels that exist in the Santa Elena canton of Santa Elena province, applying the methodology of the well-known Porter diamond model, through exploratory research , human, physical, knowledge, capital and infrastructure resources will be analyzed through the conditions of the factors of the establishments taking into account the most relevant points which affect or favor these, therefore, the different conditions will be explored of the demand with the most distinguished points of the place where it will be established if the hostel is related vertically or horizontally in relation to the service they provide to tourists. Analyzing competitive factors such as customers, rivalry of competitors, suppliers, substitute products and the entry of competitors will determine the current situation of these hotels, knowing how feasible is the increase of innovative strategies to attract the customer, considering the perspectives of two matrices both internal and external that will allow the creation of management tactics taking advantage of the opportunities and strengths that the establishments have.
