Abstract

The development of education is essential to be an advanced society. Such development needs to incorporate new methods and resources in the teaching-learning process. For this reason, teachers have to learn the design, implementation and evaluation of educational innovation projects in order to incorporate such novelties properly. Therefore, guides are needed for teachers to acquire such training. In this sense, this work studies how to integrate the different aspects, which are considered fundamental by several experts, to the design, evaluation and implementation of teaching innovation projects, towards the advancement of the teaching process. In particular, first, we define what a teaching innovation project means and establish the fundamental characteristics that it must meet. After that, we determine the aspects in which it is worth to innovate, which provide several types of teaching innovation projects. Finally, we analyze the different stages needed to carry out a successful project.
