Abstract

The present article is based on a methodological proposal for the use of educational software as a didactic resource, aimed at investigative training in university students in order to arouse their understanding in the research activity. The methodology used in the study starts from the inductive to discover the particular facts, analytical in the realization of the analysis of the theoretical information and the empirical data, the synthetic in the determination of the pertinent conclusions; the functional structural systemic facilitates the conception of the methodological proposal. Descriptive and inferential statistics were used to weight frequencies and obtain percentages of the empirical data obtained in class observation; the level of applicability of the proposal is determined from Kendall's nonparametric test applied to 10 specialists, and analyzed from a level of significance of 5%, which represents a 95% reliability. The research was descriptive, explanatory and projective, because it allows to describe, explain the problem and project the proposal towards a possible solution. It is concluded that teachers need a methodological proposal that allows the recognition and use of educational software as a didactic resource that facilitates the development of research training.
