Abstract

In cases where the tsunami should occur at night, and/or for some reason could not be alerted in time, or by any reason, it is not possible to escape, what to do in such cases? We propose two possible solutions to these situations. It draws one of these possible solutions, in the idea of space inside the bell or hood, which keeps the air if this bell is submerged. And this would apply in the space between walls and ceiling of rooms of buildings. The other solution is based on cases that is not possible to flee, nor using shelters, using human capabilities, so, perhaps it could be more probably to survive the tsunami. These capabilities would relate to: able to withstand underwater pressure, for a time, with large turbulent motions, with impacts of debris.
