Abstract

The excessive use of mobile phones according to the World Health Organization, can cause health problems due to immoderate and compulsive use of the Smartphone, resulting in an increase in monthly expenses on data and telephone plans, creating an addiction for consumers. causing physical and psychological disorders. The objective of the present investigation is to determine the level of ergonomic risk due to the frequent use of the mobile phone in public officials who carry out administrative activities in the Municipal Autonomous Decentralized Government of the Gonzalo Pizarro canton. The overload of information on cell phones due to social network groups where staff are communicated about municipal government news, WhatsApp work groups where messages, documents, videos and others are sent and received, increases the frequency in the use of the equipment, which leads to bad postures.
