Editorial Vol. 7 No. 2 (Dec. 2020)
This year 2020 has put our ability to be resilient to the test; the Ecuadorian university closed its doors, like many institutions worldwide, but the academy has not stopped. The Santa Elena Peninsula State University and the Incyt-UPSE team have remained current and ready not to lower their arms, despite adversity, assuming the challenge of telework and tele-education, as a philosophy of continuous change in organizations and constant transformation, escalating to the digital age, where the transfer of knowledge and research culture is essential.
In this time, our glorious University has walked by leaps and bounds to achieve the desired Accreditation, a distinction that higher education institutions receive that have complied with rigorous evaluation processes on the performance of international quality guidelines, standards and criteria; and, that the CACES awarded it very deservedly, in the month of October. Good for it.
The Presidency of Ecuador awards the "Excellence" award to our institution; This distinction is part of a global initiative initiated by the Archives Office of the Presidency of the Republic in 2019, which included training on the National Technical Rule for the Organization and Maintenance of Public Archives and which the UPSE has fully complied with.
In this new Volume 8. No. 2 December 2020, an accumulation of research works is put into consideration by our readers, product of the effort and perseverance of authors who continue to contribute to the dissemination of knowledge and science in all its areas; Thanks for trusting us.
We long for 2021 to come with new purposes that allow the world to rise from the ashes, trusting in the Supreme being and contributing to its well-being.
We are what the world needs.
