Abstract

The present research aims to analyze the current situation on the application of academic tutoring in the Management Career at UPSE, and to determine the methodological process of application through the guidance system and the accompaniment of the learning subjects. The incorporated theoretical basisarises from the definitions of tutor, tutoring and tutoree as well assignificant experiences of actors in the Higher Education context, impact situations and results of tutoring activities. An exploratory research was applied through convenience sampling, determining the initial study of this professional-qualitative activity, considering the situational reality of the subject of study and the analysis procedure of the obtained data in bibliographical sources, compiling information on the application of academic tutoring in other contexts. The results of the study aim to incorporate thematic clusters of subjects, which according  tot heir  theoretical-practical  nature  require  individual,  group,  face-to-face  or  virtual accompaniment, as well as the specific functions of teachers and students. Finally, the basic guidelines for common academic development and well-being are also established
