La oralidad en la formación profesional de los estudiantes de la Carrera de Derecho de la Universidad Estatal Península de Santa Elena

Abstract

The main objective of this document is to visualize the importance that local actors of the justice and academic sector provide to the Oral system in judicial proceedings; and, the implementation, study and practice of Orality in the Law School at Peninsula of Santa Elena State University. The research methodology was based on the documentary review of the curricular design, the current regulations of the Institution, the surveys carried out on the students, the interviews carried out with academics and actors of the local justice sector. The main conclusions of this study demonstrate that the implementation of orality in the teaching and learning process of students is relevant, as well as that the teaching of Orality is necessary throughout the entire law major and that this process must be carried out through the practice and simulation of hearings, for this purpose a special physical room for Oral litigation practices must be available.
