The vascular wilt caused by Fusarium oxysporum in Phaseolus vulgaris (common bean) is a phytosanitary problem that directly affects the yield and economy of the farmers, for its control chemical contact products are used; however, an alternative to this use is biocontrol, using organisms that promote plant growth (PGPR) with good antagonistic capacity. In this work we compare bacterial genera with PGPR characteristics; Bacillus (Bacillus sp. a, Bacillus sp. b), Rhizobium (CIAT 899), Actinobacteria (Streptomyces sp), Prochloraz as a chemical control and those formulated with Azotobacter sp, and Bacillus subtilis as positive controls. The strains of Bacillus a and Actinobacteria, with a severity of 1 and 3 degrees, antagonistic incidence of 61.54 and 76.93%, dry weight of 0.42 and 0.31 g and a total length of 17.23 and 18 are presented as better candidates for PGPR and biocontrollers. cm, respectively. The objective of this work was to evaluate the biocontrol against F. oxysporum generated by PGPR type bacteria.
