Abstract

The institutions of higher education in Ecuador have the mission of training competent and innovative professionals through research and the Santa Elena Peninsula State University is no exception. From this perspective, professionals who provide their services in these institutions perform an important function that must be evaluated. This work shows the evaluation of the teaching performance of the tests assigned by the academic period, leaving aside the merits that reached as titles and experience, the evaluation process measures the fulfillment of the various activities, Linkage with the community; In addition, the procedure for applying evaluation instruments, preliminary results, appeals, final results and feedback, thus contributing to continuous improvement, linking the results with: incentives, hiring, ladder, among others.
