Abstract

The current transformations that are take placing in Ecuador's Basic General Education (BGE) and the new demands that the Ecuadorian universities are facing, basically the National University of Education (UNAE), determine the need for changes in organizational structures and the System of organization of the educational process of the Career of Basic Education (BE) of that institution. The article aims to socialize one of the results achieved in a research project with the objective of improving the career, whose foundations and bases were presented in an earlier article of this magazine. Here, a new conception for the development of pre-professional practices in the career is presented due to its significant importance as an element of integration of teaching, research and lin kwith the community in the training of the BGE professional. The theoretical-methodological conception includes, from a new epistemological approach or starting point of view, the theoretical foundations, the principles in which the practices should be directed so as to achieve their "must be" in the career, as well as their objectives Revista Ciencias Pedagógicas e Innovación, Vol. V No. 3, Diciembre 2017, pp. 1-10|2and necessary methodological considerations for their implementation in the development of the career
